Your adventure begins in Belihuloya, a picturesque village surrounded by lush greenery. From here, head to Haputale View Point, where you’ll witness sweeping panoramas of the central highlands. Next, visit the historic Adisham Bungalow, a charming colonial-era monastery known for its peaceful ambiance and English-style gardens.
Continuing the journey, enter the Ohiya Forest, a dense, misty woodland that leads to the secluded Ohiya Station, one of the highest railway stations in Sri Lanka. Then, explore the stunning Horton Plains National Park, home to World’s End, a dramatic cliff offering a breathtaking view over the lowlands.
The highlight of the day is the thrilling descent through the Devil’s Staircase, a rugged and steep off-road trail that tests your adventure spirit. The journey concludes at Upper Bambarakanda Waterfall and the magnificent Bambarakanda Waterfall, Sri Lanka’s tallest waterfall, where you can relax and enjoy the refreshing surroundings.
